Recycled aluminium purification and sorting, Tokyo
The plant takes mixed recycled aluminium and upgrades it to a saleable grade. Material is fed to the top deck, where the separation stages sit on a steel frame, and the product and residue chutes run down to floor level.
The photographs were taken during installation and commissioning: the line on its steel structure, and the feed conveyor being positioned before start-up.
